After an extremely long wait, especially when compared to Legion's rapid update schedule, ' very first major content update will be launching after the server resets on June 29. Patch 9.1 - Chains of Domination will bring with it a massive new zone to explore, a brand new dungeon and raid to keep you busy for months on end, a new story campaign alongside 40 new Renown Levels, as well as the long-awaited ability to fly in the original Shadowlands zones!
The traitorous Sire Denathrius has been defeated, but the power of the Maw still grows. Return to the Maw with the restored strength of the kyrian, necrolords, night fae, and venthyr and together strike back at the Jailer.
There are various class tweaks, Torghast and the Maw have been redesigned, and there’s even a new Shards of Domination system that Raiders can use (though not without a few grumbling). Everything is new here with World of Warcraft: Shadowlands Update 9.1.
Torghast will be gaining a ton of new updates in patch 9.1 as well including new floors, foes, traps and powers. Blizzard also said that the Tarragrue will now be removed as well as the death council. Presumably these will be replaced with some other sort of mechanic. They also teased new layers and rewards for the Twisted Corridors but nothing to announce right now unfortunately. Looking forward to the new layers’ aesthetics and I hope these layers will be different.
WoW Shadowlands Patch 9.1, Chains of Rule, breaks the eight-month content drought that followed the launch of World of Warcraft: Shadowland last year, adding a new zone, raid, mega-dungeon, and more.
