Lake Mjøsa is perfect for relaxed padling adventures!

Infoteket offers rental of both single and double kayaks. The kayaks are very sturdy and stand the rocky shore of lake Mjøsa. In addition to that, the kayaks are very steady so that even those with little padle experience will feel save and can relaxe.

When renting a kayak, a life jacket and paddle are of course included in the rental price. Wetsuits, dry bags or other equipment can be rented in addition..

Rental prices 

Single kayak:

1 hour - kr 350,-

3 hours - kr 500,-

whole day - kr 650,-

Pre-booking or dropp-inn (for dropp-inn, please check our opening hours)

Double kayak:

1 hour - kr 450,-

3 hours - kr 600,-

whole day - kr 750,-

Seasonal Notice
From around October 1st to June 1st (depending on weather conditions), the water in Lake Mjøsa is too cold for paddling with just a wetsuit. There is a significant risk of hypothermia in case of a capsize. During this period, our kayak rentals are closed. Feel free to contact us if you’re unsure about the conditions!
