🛶 What to Expect

We start our tour at Helgøya, near the bridge, with a quick intro on how to use the kayak and equipment. This ensures a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Then we head out onto the water. Our destination depends on the weather and the group’s fitness level – every tour is a little different!

⚠️ Important Safety Notes

To join the tour, you must:

• Be in normal physical condition

• Be at least 13 years old (turning 13 during the year is okay)

• Be able to swim and feel comfortable in water

• Weigh under 120 kg

• Be sober – alcohol is not permitted before or during the trip

Kayaking is an outdoor activity and carries some natural risk. On Lake Mjøsa, this includes:

• Distance from shore

• Changing weather and water conditions

• Cold water temperatures

We follow strict safety procedures, which are explained before the tour. All participants must follow the guide’s instructions for everyone’s safety.

Weather changes may lead to route changes or delays. While rare, return times can be later than planned. Please allow extra time in your schedule. We are not responsible for any inconvenience caused by delays.
