Welcome to Infoteket – Your gateway to Nes & Helgøya!

Since 2024, Infoteket has proudly served as the local tourist office for the beautiful region of Nes & Helgøya, the heart og lake Mjøsa. Our summer season kicks off in early June and runs through the end of August – and during the Norwegian school holidays, we’re open every single day!

We’ve moved into the charming old gymnasium at historic Toftes Gave on Helgøya! Step inside and discover what’s happening across the region. We offer maps, brochures, and insider tips to help you make the most of your visit.

Looking for a bit of adventure? Rent one of our electric bikes or kayaks and experience the beautiful landscape up close!

New this year!
We now feature a permanent mini-exhibition on the fascinating history of Toftes Gave – a must-see for history lovers.

And in July, don’t miss our guided tours of Toftes Gave and the scenic Skredderstustien trail – perfect for those who want to explore with a local expert.
